So about a year ago, Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing let me know that almost 10 years after I published Chance Assassin with them, they'd reviewed it and found the COVER of all things to be a violation of their standards, so they pulled it from their site. They didn't pull the print copy mind you, just the ebook. I mean...of all the reasons to stop publishing that particular book I wouldn't have thought the cover was what would offend people but I digress.
I know it's been ages since I've posted anything (and even longer since I've written anything) but I figured I would provide this update. Better late than never. They haven't yet found any of my other bloody book covers objectionable but that could be coming in the future (bloody in the blood sense, not the British sense). I'm still undecided on whether to publish it elsewhere but for now, if anyone really really wants a copy they can reach out to me. Or pirate it I suppose, since it's definitely out there on the high seas.

Hi!! I just wanted to say that the Chance Assassin series has been one of my favorites since I found it some years ago. When it was on Kindle, I would give it a reread once a year or so. I was sooo disappointed to find the series MIA. Is there anywhere I can buy a copy of the series? Paperback, ebook, I'm not picky.

I ended up pulling both series (the original and spinoff) after they refused to sell Chance Assassin since I didn't want to replace the cover or honestly deal with any of it anymore.
